Winter training is in full sprint as the boys are training for the upcoming season. The Renegades baseball teams are working on speed, agility and strength drills at TCBOOST Sports Performance in Northbrook. The program teams are bonding while getting faster. Each training session they work on the mechanics, strength, and running faster to run faster. Learning these foundational movement skills will not only improve performance potentials, but it will also help to reduce injury now and in the future. The trainers utilize age-appropriate drills and exercises to improve sprinting technique, coordination, and balance. The goal is to enhance athletic abilities while keeping the experience enjoyable and engaging. The winter training not only concentrates on speed but also incorporates vital components such as endurance, balance, and coordination. Athletes will gain the skills required to compete at a higher level.
Each practice is a chance for old and new players to come together as a team. The new players start learning the ways of the Renegade program and the dedication it takes. Players, younger and older, enjoy coming together and building a foundation for the season.
